The Energy of Autumn
Autumn arrives with golden hush and deep breath.
It’s the season of turning inward, of gathering what has grown, and honoring what must fall away. Nature shifts into warm tones and slower rhythms—leaves descend, seeds dry, and the air carries memory.
This is a time of reflection, integration, and quiet celebration.
Autumn invites us to listen more deeply, to harvest our experiences, and to prepare the ground for what’s next.
What We Create What We Shift
In this onsite workshop, we celebrate autumn through art that honors memory, transformation, and the beauty of decay.
Inspired by seasonal rituals like the Autumn Equinox, Samhain, and All Souls’ Day, we’ll work with natural textures—leaves, twigs, earth pigments, archival fragments—and create shadow books, ancestral collages, and ritual objects that hold story and soul.
Expect slow, intentional making: stitching, layering, imprinting. Each piece becomes a vessel for remembrance and release.
Autumn is a threshold.
This workshop helps you shift from outward momentum to inner clarity, from accumulation to discernment.
Through creative ritual, somatic reflection, and shared storytelling, we honor what has served and gently let go of what no longer does.
You’ll leave with art that holds your harvest—and space for what’s coming.
Voices From The Circle - What Autumn Whispered
“There was something sacred about sitting in a circle surrounded by leaves, twigs, and the scent of pumpkin spice. We created mandalas from nature, stitched memory into paper, and honored stories I didn’t know were waiting to be told. It felt like harvesting parts of myself I’d forgotten.”
—Isobel, Lewes
“I’ve never made art with pumpkins before—and certainly not like this. Paula guided us into a space where every object became symbolic: the seeds, the textures, the colors of decay. I left with a shadow book full of layered meaning and a heart that felt both lighter and wiser.”
—Kasia, London
“Autumn with Paula is a portal. We painted mandalas with earth pigments, pressed leaves into journals, and created altars that felt like home. It wasn’t just about making—it was about remembering. I came to create, but I stayed to integrate.”
—Jules, Bath
